Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas in Nashville This Year

When it comes to Christmas, you shouldn’t take any shortcuts for a great holiday experience. In our guide to the perfect Christmas in Nashville, there are three things you can do to really make the most of the holiday season:

  1. Get a Christmas tree.
  2. Decorate your house.
  3. Enjoy the Christmas lights.

Find out how you can do all of those below to have a magical Christmas in Nashville.

1. Get Ready to Rock Around the Christmas Tree

During the holidays, the focal point of your home will most likely be a Christmas tree. Make sure it truly stands out by picking one up at Santa’s Trees. With eight convenient locations throughout the Nashville area, you’ll get a fresh, high-quality tree and experienced staff members who will help you find the perfect one for your home. Aside from premium Fraser fir trees, they sell wreaths, garlands, and other holiday greenery. Plus, they can delivery your purchases to your home and set everything up. All you’d need to do is put up the lights and ornaments. You can check out the beautiful trees they’ll be selling this year on the Santa’s Trees Facebook page.

2. There’s No Place Like a Decorated Home for the Holidays

If you want to be the envy of your neighbors this holiday season, be sure to have your exterior lights installed by the Christmas Light Pros of TN. You’ll no longer need to worry about getting up on that high ladder to reach the top of your house, untangling all the light strings, or staying out in the cold to put everything up. Their professional team will take care of everything for you. When you contact Christmas Light Pros, they’ll come up with a design plan based on what kind of look you’re going for. They’ll provide all the lights and equipment for you to rent, and also install the lights and remove everything during the first two weeks of January. For more information, call for a free estimate or visit Christmas Light Pros of TN on Facebook.

3. Go Walking (or Driving) in a Lit-Up Winter Wonderland

After you get your house professionally decorated, check out how festive the Nashville area can get with The Dancing Lights of Christmas. This unique setup is Middle Tennessee’s largest drive thru light and music show, and has been around for almost a decade. Hosted by the James E. Ward Agricultural Center, this event opens at 5:00 p.m. each night, rain or shine, from November 17th to December 31st. This 30-minute light show goes to the music from your radio, which you’ll need to set to the correct station. With over 1.5 million lights dancing to the music, each visit is sure to be a unique experience for the entire family.
