Toyota 4Runner Specs
The Toyota 4Runner runs on a 4.0L V6 engine that gets up to 270 horsepower and 278 lb-ft of torque. This system works with a 5-speed Electronically Controlled automatic Transmission with intelligence (ECT-i). Together, they help this capable SUV tow up to 5,000 pounds.
In addition to hauling lots of cargo, you can depend on the Toyota 4Runner to get you through any driving conditions. Rear-Wheel Drive comes standard, but both Part-time and Full-time Four-Wheel Drive (4WD) are available. Both options come with Active Traction Control.
You can also adjust the drivetrain using Multi-Terrain Select. It gives you selectable driving modes and features Crawl Control switches. Feel free to take your SUV over all sorts of terrain too. You can always count on the Toyota 4Runner to provide you with a comfortable ride, too. It has standard seating for up to five people. Cloth seats come standard, but refined leather upholstery is also available. There’s also a standard leather-wrapped steering wheel.
Up front the driver and front passenger will have space to stretch out with 39.3 inches of headroom and 41.7 inches of legroom. Passengers in the back can relax with 38.6 inches of headroom and 32.9 inches of legroom.
There’s also lots of space in the trunk with 47.2 cubic feet of cargo room. To help you pack up or grab something, both a power rear tailgate and power rear window are both available. It’s also prepared to pack more with 40/20/40 fold-flat second-row seats. With the seats folded, you’ll have up to 89.7 cubic feet of cargo room.

A pair of third-row seats are also available. They’re a great way to make room for everyone if you’ve got a big family. If you choose to add the extra row, you’ll have space for up to seven people. Passengers in the back will have 34.3 inches of headroom and 29.3 inches of legroom.
